Kay Lynn Mayhue, CFP®, AEP®, RFC® is President of Merit Financial Advisors and has been the significant driver of the firm’s meteoric growth over the past 18 months. As President, she works in tandem with Rick, the CEO, in identifying and acquiring the right firms, hiring and providing direction to the ELT, including the new COO, whom she is mentoring. Her background as advisor, seller and buyer helps her in working with Merit’s current advisors as well as when they are going through the acquisition process. KayLynn is also involved in Merit’s entry into an innovative rev share program with CPA’s, strategic planning including redefining roles, evaluating Merit’s technology, enhancing service offerings and driving more diversity. KayLynn is involved in every deal and firm transition.
Merit is built on a servant-leadership style, which empowers our team to solve problems, create solutions and grow. We continually looks for ways to serve the team and better each member. Merit has a particular focus on working with individuals in transition, including divorce, retirement, widowhood, etc. As clients navigate these events in their personal lives, they can rest assured that their advisors and partners at Merit will guide them through the financial implications.
