2022 ODYSSEY TO OREGON
Adelle Tracey 29 yrs. (Women’s 1500m only) SB/PB: 4:02:55, 0strava Tracey competes primarily in the 800 metres. In February 2022, she won her second British national title adding to a 2016 indoor 800m victory with a triumph over the 1500 metre distance. On June 28th, 2022, Tracey became eligible to compete for Jamaica. She was born in Seattle, Washington and is currently world ranked 26th in the 800m and 29th in the 1500m. Triple Jump Shanieka Ricketts 30 yrs. SB: 14.52, Kuortane PB: 14.98m, Doha (outdoors) Ricketts won the silver medal at the 2019 World Championships in Doha. In that same season, she topped the Diamond League standings in the triple jump with a victory over World and Olympic champion Yulimar Rojas of Venezuela.
Ricketts was born in Saint Thomas, Jamaica and is currently ranked 2nd in the world. Kimberly Williams 33 yrs. SB: 13.87, USA PB: 14.69, Doha (outdoors) Williams is a 7‐time National Champion and 4 time NCAA Champion. By the time she had graduated university in 2012, she was 'the most decorated women's track and field athlete in Florida State history'. Williams was born in Saint Thomas, Jamaica and is currently ranked 4th in the world. Ackelia Smith (Alt) 20 yrs. SB: 14.08, USA PB: 14.08, USA (outdoors) Smith has always had endless potential, as was illustrated when she won the triple jump at the 2021 ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys’ and Girls’ Athletics Championships for Edwin Allen High and when she qualified for the 2021 World Under 20 final. Currently a student‐athlete at the University of Texas, Smith is currently ranked 28th in the world. PB: 6.77, USA (outdoors) Porter specializes in the long jump event and won the silver medal at the National Senior Championships and will return to represent Jamaica at the World Championships. In 2019, she finished ninth. Success has followed her throughout her athletic career. Daughter to a former Vere Technical high jumper, Porter Long Jump Chanice Porter 28 yrs. SB: 6.55 Kingston
won the 2011 World Under 18 long jump in 2011 and in 2012, she crowned a brilliant Boys and Girls Championships career with a class 1 high jump/long jump double. Despite a pesky ankle injury, she won the 2016 NCAA long jump title with her last jump. Porter attended Manchester High School and later the University of Georgia. A seven-time national champion in the high jump, Kimberly Williamson has a strong 1.93m personal best. High Jump Lamara Distin 22 yrs. SB: 1.97, USA PB: 1.97, USA (outdoors) has earned her NCAA titles indoors and outdoors this season and a national record of 1.97 metres. Distin is soaring in the high jump event this season.
