Allen is a former St. Jago and Auburn University standout, who was a part of the Olympic 4x400 metres relay team that won the silver medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics. Christopher Taylor 22 yrs. SB: 45.45, Netherlands PB: 44.79, Tokyo Ranking: 9 Christopher Taylor is widely known for his achievements while attending Calabar High School. He was an Olympic finalist last year at the Tokyo Summer Games where he finished sixth in a lifetime best of 44.79 seconds. He won the 400 metres at the 2015 World Athletics U18 Championships in Cali, Colombia in 45.27 seconds, a Jamaica youth record. Taylor also won the Under 18 400 metres at the 2015 CARIFTA Games in a championship record time of 46.64 seconds. 4x400M Karayme Bartley, Javon Francis and Anthony Cox will make up the men’s 4x400 metres relay pool. At the 2019 Doha World Championships, the quartet of Akeem Bloomfield, Nathon Allen, Terry Thomas, and Demish Gaye earned the second spot on the podium. The Jamaican men have won seven world silver medals in this event. 4x400M (Mixed) Junelle Bromfield, Tiffany James‐ Rose, and St. Jago High sensation Gregory Prince alongside Akeem Bloomfield will compete in the 4x400 metres mixed relay.

Navasky Anderson broke Seymour Newman’s 45-year-old national mark for 800 metres in the 2022 outdoor season.

400M Hurdles Jaheel Hyde 25 yrs. SB: 48.51, Kingston PB: 48.18, Kingston Ranking: 10 2016 and 2021 Olympian Jaheel Hyde, who was a track and field and football sensation at Wolmer’s Boys has a personal best of 45.78 seconds in the 400 metres hurdles. In addition, Hyde is a three‐time national champion. Before choosing to compete in the 400 metres hurdles only, Hyde also competed in the 110 metres hurdles. He has won gold medals at the World Junior and World Youth Championships in the 110 and 400 metres hurdles respectively. Kemar Mowatt 27 yrs. SB: 48.53, Kingston PB: 48.49, Oregon Ranking: 17 Kemar Mowatt is a University of Arkansas alumni, who finished fourth at the 2017 World Championships in London in the finals of the 400 metres hurdles.

Mowatt was a two‐time SEC champion, and a double NCAA finalist in the event. Shawn Rowe 29 yrs. SB: 49.37, South Carolina PB: 47.18, Florida Shawn Rowe represented Jamaica at the 2020 Summer Olympic Games in Tokyo last year where he made the semi‐ finals of the 400 metres hurdles in a season’s best time of 49.18 seconds.
