NxtGen Network is proudly entering its third year of business. A 50/50 partnership is in place between Amanda Venezia and Marlon Gordon, completely funded by the partners sans any investors or private equity. From the very beginning these forward thinkers have been ahead of the curve bringing futuristic marketing to vendors and providers. Embracing technology and confident in the multi faceted viability of video, NxtGen Network continues to increase its market share in the food industry and attract new clients. NxtGen Network has both monthly clients, multi year contracts, and those who choose to employ us as a one time production provider. We remain agile and work with clients across multiple levels of service in both national and regional markets. There is still a great amount of market share for NxtGen to acquire, being a marketing, advertising, and production house in the foodservice space. Our recent successful partnership with Informa has confirmed our exponential potential across the food and beverage industry. And although K12 will forever be our home and in our hearts, the recent success of working in the commercial sector made it clear that our presence is needed there as well.

Our individual stories begin with many of us in operations, working in leadership roles within child nutrition programs. We came together as a company through a demand for our consulting services three years ago. We provided professional development, keynote speakers, IT consulting, and marketing support to school districts, associations, and foodservice manufacturers nationwide. In 2020 the pandemic changed the trajectory of the F&B industry and brought with it new challenges. The first issue we tackled was the problem quarantine posed with its inability for industry members and operators to be face to face. Our solution was First Taste TV™ which reached over 850K viewers. We are constantly looking for ways to serve, problem solve, innovate, and disrupt. First Taste TV™ led to From the Show Floor which enabled manufacturers to connect with operators at the regional level as well as provide services and support for state associations. This was shortly followed by Served Digizine™, our communication platform for distributing rich media and solution for providing our partners with the ability to better engage with their audience using higher quality, more innovative content, while increasing ROI. After hearing countless times that high performing operators weren’t receiving the professional development and networking opportunities they needed to grow, we created LINQ’D UP which evolved into Ignite. We’ve partnered with likes of Tyson, Land O’ Lakes, Simplot, LINQ, J.T.M., Vulcan, Eaton Marketing and others to provided excitable edutainment and networking experiences for food service operators regardless of their vertical or experience level. Fast forward a few projects and enter Next Up. Next Up is a new kind of talk show and podcast that focuses on thought leadership. It creates awareness of important matters to the industry and the ability of real time viewer interaction both virtually and in person. The core of the NxtGen team are individuals who have experience as leaders and decision makers in the food and beverage industry. We’ve served on the industry side, working in leadership roles for major design and technology companies, led in operations, and we’ve had the opportunity to serve on multiple committees from state to national levels. Our combined experience in food service from operator to industry totals over 55 years. These experiences have been a launching pad for the success we have enjoyed across foodservice as a whole. We started off as being the most innovative company in Child Nutrition and now we’re kicking down doors and ready to take the rest of the non commercial sector AND commercial sector by storm.

Marlon is the co-creator and co-host of First Taste TV™, a show dedicated to connecting companies with their current and new audience Through video. Creator and host of Next Up, a talk show that focuses on thought leadership, lead generation, and live engagement. Creator of Ignite, a networking event focused on edutainment and fun. Co- host of the LINQ’D UP podcast, which aims to break down the silos within school districts, and co-creator of digital publications such as Served Digizine™ and Indulge. Marlon is a visionary, a team builder, and is fueled by a faith that helps him do things others think are impossible.
A restaurant and hospitality professional for over 15 years, Amanda is currently in her 10th year rocking school lunches as a director in New Hampshire. A wife, mom and Vlogger, Amanda shares her passion for school nutrition by speaking at national conferences and training industry professionals. She’s skilled in front of the house and business operations—but don’t discount her proficiency and creativity in the kitchen! Amanda has won awards including FoodService Director Magazine’s 2019 Rising Star and 2020 New Hampshire’s Top 40 Under Forty.

As the the Strategic Advisor for NxtGen Network, Nisha Bagepalli is responsible for creating and accelerating our client’s marketing strategy and brand recognition across the nation. She has significant experience across product marketing, branding, strategic planning, product management and market research. She is focused on driving the missions of our retail, commercial, and hospitality clients while helping them grow and build stronger businesses. Through marketing programs and thought leadership she promotes your exceptional product innovations and purpose-driven initiatives.
Breanna Gustafson is a storyteller. Having started her career in the Boston news market, Breanna knows and understands what it takes to get people to pay attention and create captivating content. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Film & Media and her Master’s Degree in New Media & Marketing. Breanna has worked closely with nonprofits to train organization leaders on how to utilize video as an advertising and education tool. Before joining NxtGen Network, Breanna worked as the Marketing Supervisor for the 33rd largest school district in the United States bridging the gap between school foodservice, students, and the community.
Sarah started her career as a graphic designer over 11 years ago, designing signage for school nutrition programs. From those early beginnings, she has expanded her skills into various areas of graphic and web design. Visual brand design, layout, and web design are among her favorites! She feels grateful to be able to continue equipping school nutrition professionals, food & beverage, hospitality, companies, and non-profits with important visual resources. Sarah attended Indiana State University where she studied Graphic Design.
Matt Mayer specializes in all things visual. He has a natural eye for composition across multiple media platforms. Focusing his time primarily in photography & videography for 15+ years he has taken his passion and honed it into his craft. A self- proclaimed tech-nerd, Matt makes it a point to be current on new technology and techniques that will keep us fresh and innovative.
