ADAPTING TO CHANGE Change is always unsettling. But if you look at the past, whether it’s the invention of the car, or the invention of the personal computer, the Internet, or social media, ultimately all those innovations have created new jobs and new areas of expertise and opened new possibilities to us as a society and to opinion-formers, opinion leaders, and to people and consumers.
That’s why I think we worry about the tasks and the jobs that are going to be eliminated right now, and rightly so because these are the most obvious. However, we don’t yet know of all the new opportunities and these new jobs and areas of expertise that are going to develop.
