The MOMologue by Stacy Cardinale
Hi. I’m Stacy. I am many things, including but not limited to, a mom, a wife, a daughter, a friend, a creator, an amazing lip- syncer, an empath, and an overall good time. I have an MBA from Southern New Hampshire University and I enjoy painting, photography, drinking wine, eating french fries, and crafting. I have been married for 10 years (cocktail please!!) and together we have made two amazing humans (another cocktail please!!). Our son Anthony (7) and our daughter Sloan (4) have non-stop energy and in the rare instance they are not talking they are eating all the snacks. I am typically the “go-to” person for my friends who are seeking advice, a non-judgmental ear, perspective, a good venting session, or even just a hug (I am also a master hugger). I believe that human connection is of the utmost importance and that kindness is cool.
INNOVATE thy self!
Innovation. It can be so exciting! The possibilities are endless, and while others may think of technology or products, I immediately think of self-improvement. We all have things about ourselves we would like
innovation comes in. I chose to improve the quality of said “down time.” I started thinking about ways to level up my time that wasn’t so mindless.

Using innovation as my inspiration I came up with a couple of ideas that allowed me to feel better about how I spent my time. First, I
to improve or change. The thought of innovation in this way can be so exhilarating! I like to think of it as an opportunity to spark some creativity and think of things in a different way. Listen, as parents, we are BUSY! We do all the things for all the people and most times we end up putting ourselves on the back burner, without even realizing it. Maybe you
decided to take an online course on something that has always interested me since childhood, crystals! Now, I’m a certified crystal healer, HOW COOL! I also decided instead of allowing myself so much screen time that I’d read more. You should see my reading list now! It really can be as simple as that. Even the smallest of tweaks in the name of improvement can make the biggest difference! You can do it. You deserve it. You’re worthy and capable.
even feel guilty for prioritizing yourself… STOP THAT! If you’ve ever felt like you need permission to put yourself first, consider this your signed slip. No more waiting for “the right time,” trust me, for a busy parent that may never come. There’s always something that can be made into an excuse for procrastination, I know this firsthand. You are just as important as all those people you care for, and you’re allowed to act like it! (Read that again) Now is your time. For me, I’ve come to the realization that I consume far too much media. Whether it’s scrolling on my phone or watching TV. It’s my way of relaxing and enjoying “me time,” but I wanted to change that. Here’s where
Now go forth and be your own INNOVATOR!!
