RECIPE: Pink Pineapple & Strawberry Protein Smoothie Serves 1 - 2
Ingredients • ½ cup Pink Pineapple cubes • ½ cup Strawberries, fresh or frozen • 1 banana • 1 scoop of your favorite plant based protein powder, vanilla flavored • ½ cup almond milk Steps: Place all ingredients into a blender. Blend until all ingredients are mixed well.
I use a protein in this recipe to pack in lots of protein. I use a plant based protein supplement that provides 17 g protein per scoop. That’s equivalent to almost 3 large eggs which is a great on the go option. The balance of protein and carbohydrates from the bananas, strawberries, and pineapple make this smoothie a good option for a post workout snack. I really enjoy a good, filling smoothie. I don’t like taking a lot of time in the morning to make breakfast so smoothies are an easy way to start my day.
