WHO WE ARE The Institute of Child Nutrition (ICN), headquartered at the University of Mississippi, was established by Congress in 1989. ICN is the only federally funded national center dedicated to providing resources, training, research, and technical assistance for child nutrition programs. WHAT WE DO ICN develops educational tools and resources, offers training opportunities, and conducts applied research that supports professional development and contributes to the continued success of professionals participating in child nutrition programs.
