But if organizations are waiting to provide leadership development only when someone is officially in a management role, they are allowing underdeveloped leaders to impact other individuals negatively, even if it is unintentionally. Ineffective leaders can lead to disengaged employees, negative outcomes, and high turnover rates. Therefore, organizations need to provide leadership development at various levels for all individuals regardless of their role.
