STRENGTHENING IMPACT FOR THE LONG TERM GENYOUth’s accomplishments: • Expanded access to nutritious food, helping schools increase meal participation by 15–27% on average—with some schools seeing gains of up to 57% following equipment and program support. • Increased access to daily physical activity, reaching millions of students annually through NFL FLAG-In-School and building momentum toward a culture of 60 minutes of movement every day. • Elevated youth voice from participation to meaningful influence, with youth leaders shaping national conversations and contributing insights that inform program design. Together, these efforts – and the GENYOUth initiatives below – are helping create a healthy future where healthy choices are not just available–but embedded in everyday school life. Event-driven fundraising and grantmaking connected to the NFL Draft and Super Bowl helped remove barriers to school meal participation—supporting tens of thousands of students and enabling millions of additional school meals to be accessed annually. Investments in equipment like Grab and Go carts and alternative serving models are proven to increase breakfast participation by up to 27%, ensuring more students start the day nourished and ready to learn. NFL FLAG-In-School continued its rapid expansion, now reaching over 17 million students nationwide through 30,000+ schools. The program provides a turnkey, standards-aligned P.E. solution, and schools consistently report: • Stronger inclusion—especially among girls and students new to sport GENYOUth’s National Youth Council shaped national dialogues on school meals, physical education, and wellness—presenting at major conferences, advising GENYOUth leadership, and driving research that informs policy and program design. • Increased student participation in physical education • Greater engagement during recess and structured play GENYOUth’s affiliation with Action for Healthy Kids created the nation’s largest school wellness enterprise with aligned strategy, leadership, and operations to drive scaled impact for the health and well-being of America’s students.
